Industrial Soldier is a veteran owned Company dedicated to the creation of employment opportunities that maximize wounded and severely wounded veterans’ abilities to perform meaningful and life sustaining employment. Industrial Soldier’s mission is to develop the career skills, employment experience and future employment opportunities to independently sustain their employment and social functioning within companies across the country. To the extent possible, Industrial Soldier will also seek ways to support the employment interests of veteran spouses.
Industrial Soldier has two important business components: direct employment and consulting service to replicate the employment model within other employers.
First, the establishment of a for profit wood products manufacturing and assembly operation that employs wounded and severely wounded veterans. The operations consist of a skill assessment lab, development of employment related adaptive technologies, job skill training, direct employment, and veteran supportive environment. Veteran employees will establish productive work experience that can lead to future employment opportunities with other employers. Our operational approach will serve as a demonstration site for the effective employment of wounded and severely wounded veterans that can be recreated within other companies.
Industrial Soldier together with like minded employers can make a difference in the lives of our wounded and severely wounded veterans to restore some of what they have lost in their sacrifice for all of us.
Second, Industrial Soldier will provide consulting services to employers throughout the country who are interested in setting up their own customized employment opportunities for wounded and severely wounded veterans. To truly impact the employment of wounded and severely wounded veterans in our country it requires the active support and participation of other employers to offer career opportunities to their local veterans. Industrial Soldier will provide the template and supporting systems to create customized employment opportunities that integrate within their business.
